Solomon spends thirteen years building his own palace complex, including the House of the Forest of Lebanon and the hall of justice. Then Huram, a skilled bronzeworker from Tyre, casts the temple’s furnishings (the two great pillars Jachin and Boaz, the huge bronze “sea” on twelve oxen, the ten stands and basins, and the golden altar, table, and lampstands) completing the equipment for worship.
