Solomon assembles Israel to bring up the ark into the Most Holy Place, and the glory of the LORD fills the house as a cloud, so that the priests cannot stand to minister. Solomon blesses the people and prays a magnificent dedication prayer, asking that God hear from heaven whenever His people, or even a foreigner, turn and pray toward this house, and even when, exiled for sin, they repent and pray toward the land. He blesses the assembly and offers vast sacrifices in a joyful feast.
