In contrast, the Lamb stands on Mount Zion with the 144,000, who bear His name and sing a new song. Three angels announce the eternal gospel, the fall of Babylon, and the doom of those who worship the beast, while “the dead who die in the Lord” are declared “blessed.” Then comes “the harvest of the earth,” one like a son of man reaping the ripe grain, and the grapes of wrath trodden in the winepress of God’s judgment.
