John sees those who “had conquered the beast” standing beside a sea of glass, singing “the song of Moses... and the song of the Lamb”: “Great and amazing are your deeds, O Lord God the Almighty!” Then seven angels come out of the heavenly temple “with seven plagues, which are the last, for with them the wrath of God is finished,” holding “seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God.”
