A radiant vision opens the chapter: in the latter days the mountain of the LORD’s house will be lifted up, and all nations will stream to it to learn His ways and beat their swords into plowshares. Against this hope stands the day of the LORD, which will humble all human pride and idolatry, bringing low everything lofty so that the LORD alone is exalted.
