Chapter 1 (c. 4004 BC): God creates the heavens, earth, and humanity in six days and blesses the Sabbath.
Chapter 2 (c. 4004 BC): God forms Adam and Eve, places them in Eden, and establishes marriage and stewardship.
Chapter 3 (c. 4004 BC): The serpent tempts Adam and Eve, sin enters the world, and God promises redemption.
Chapter 4 (c. 4004-3000 BC): Cain murders Abel, and the first human violence brings judgment and a divided human story.
Chapter 5 (c. 4004-2500 BC): The genealogy from Adam to Noah shows death spreading while the covenant line continues.
Chapter 6 (c. 2500-2350 BC): Human wickedness grows severe, but Noah finds grace and is called to build the ark.
Chapter 7 (c. 2350 BC): The flood brings judgment on the earth while Noah and his family are preserved.

Chapter 13 (c. 2000-1900 BC): Abram and Lot separate, and God renews His promise of land and descendants.
