“I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice,” the reasonable response to all that grace has done. Believers are not to be conformed to the world but transformed by the renewing of their minds. Paul then describes life in the body of Christ: using one’s gifts in humility, and above all loving one another with genuine love, serving, blessing persecutors, weeping with those who weep, living peaceably, and overcoming evil with good.
