In contrast to the seductress, Wisdom lifts her voice in the public places, offering truth, righteousness, and counsel that are better than gold. The chapter rises to a magnificent height as Wisdom declares that she was possessed by the LORD “at the beginning of his work,” present “like a master workman” as He founded the earth, His daily delight, words the New Testament sees fulfilled in Christ. “Whoever finds me finds life.”
