On the first day of the week, an angel rolls back the stone, and the women find the tomb empty; the risen Jesus meets them and sends them to tell His disciples. The guards are bribed to spread a lie. Then, on a mountain in Galilee, the risen Christ appears to the eleven and gives the Great Commission: “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them... and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
