On a high mountain Jesus is transfigured before Peter, James, and John, His face shining like the sun; Moses and Elijah appear, and the Father’s voice again declares, “This is my beloved Son... listen to him.” Coming down, Jesus heals a demon-possessed boy the disciples could not help, teaching them about faith, and again foretells His death and resurrection. He provides the temple tax miraculously from the mouth of a fish.
