Old and near death, Joshua gathers Israel’s leaders and reminds them that the LORD has fought for them and kept every promise. He warns them to hold fast to the LORD, love Him, and keep the law, and not to associate with or intermarry among the remaining nations, lest those nations become a snare and the LORD drive Israel from the good land.
