God announces the total defeat of Gog and his hordes upon the mountains of Israel, so overwhelming that it takes seven months to bury the dead and their weapons serve as fuel for seven years. Through this judgment the nations and Israel alike “shall know that I am the LORD,” and God will restore His people and pour out His Spirit, no longer hiding His face.
