The priests and Sadducees arrest Peter and John, but Peter, filled with the Spirit, boldly proclaims that salvation is found in no one but Jesus: “There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Though threatened and forbidden to preach, the apostles refuse to be silent. The believers pray for boldness, the place is shaken, and they are filled with the Spirit, holding all things in common and sharing with any in need.
