Asa does what is good and right, removing foreign altars, high places, and idols, and commanding Judah to seek the LORD; the land has rest, and he builds and fortifies. When Zerah the Ethiopian invades with an immense army, Asa cries out, “O LORD, there is none like you to help,” and God strikes down the vast host before Judah, so they carry away much spoil.
