Paul rebukes believers for taking one another to court before unbelievers, when they should settle disputes within the church and would be better to suffer wrong than to defraud a brother. He warns that the unrighteous (including the sexually immoral, idolaters, thieves, and others) will not inherit the kingdom, “and such were some of you,” but they were washed, sanctified, and justified. Because the body is “for the Lord,” a member of Christ and a temple of the Holy Spirit, they must “flee from sexual immorality” and “glorify God in your body,” for “you were bought with a price.”
