Paul gives directions for the collection to be gathered for the poor saints in Jerusalem, setting aside a sum each week. He shares his travel plans to visit them after Ephesus, commends the coming of Timothy and Apollos, and urges them, “Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.” He closes with greetings from the churches and from Aquila and Priscilla, the prayer “Our Lord, come!” (Maranatha), and his benediction of grace and love.
