The genealogies of the remaining northern tribes (Issachar, Benjamin, Naphtali, Manasseh, Ephraim, and Asher) are recorded, with their fighting men and chiefs. Even the tribes largely lost in the Assyrian exile are remembered, testifying that they too belong to the story of God’s people.
